Nature friendly packaging
We use materials that are easily recyclable and biodegradable. And absolutely no plastic in any form.
Recycled paper
Recycled paper is made from waste paper while tree free paper is made from a range of natural waste from cotton to farm waste. We use them to cover our cacao and chocolate bars. Not only are they beautiful but unlike traditional paper processes, they consume much less water and help preserve forests.
Aluminum foil
Aluminum foil is used to wrap our creations. We use aluminum foil for 2 reasons - one because it is one of the most recycled materials and second because it preserves our products for a longer duration. Shortly we would be moving to a truly natural alternative.
Gond
Gond, as it is known in India, is a natural sap secreted by various trees. It is mixed with a few other natural materials to form an emulsion which becomes our glue.
Natural ice pack
A truly natural ice pack made in-house. When we began our journey we looked and looked for a natural ice pack to keep our products from melting during shipping, but we could not find any. So we created a natural one ourselves. It is what ensures that our cacao and chocolates reach you perfectly even after a long journey.
Coir
Coir is a natural insulator. Moreover it is produced in large quantities and often ends up as waste. We use it to line our boxes to protect our chocolates while also ensuring it remains at an ambient temperature for longer.
Cardboard box
We ship our products in a cardboard box. It protects them from the bumps and hits that is a part of any shipping. It is recycled, recyclable and biodegradable.
