Sour notes

I made a cup and found it too sour, I am using pure cacao powder which is fantastic and I expected this to be better but sadly it wasn’t. I still have to try two other varieties.

Hi Harman,
Thank you so much for taking the time out to write a review. We really appreciate it :). Let me address why Anamalai is more sour than the cacao powder. Firstly we roast it at low temperatures to ensure the natural flavours and nutrition is maintained, secondly it is ground and shipped fresh and thirdly it is the most unprocessed form. These things are often stripped in the cacao powder which can often times be many months old when we consume it. I am sorry for you not having a great experience with Anamalai. We are going to improve the cacao by roasting it more deeply to make the Sour flavours more delicious and send one to you for tasting. I hope you will start liking it and we would love to hear more when you do. Till then Pala and India, which you have ordered, are both amazing flavours which are not sour as Anamalai. We know that you will like them. Keep sharing your views. We would love to hear more.
Peace, Sai.

Drinking cacao

I found the cacao to be really good and end up ordering it quite often. Making a cup of hot cacao with water is a perfect substitute for coffee for me when I want sustained energy without getting jittery. The flavours are exceptional.

Amazing cacao!

I bought Idukki and Anamalai both but I enjoyed the latter more! :D Both are great quality.
I started having it on Sundays, empty stomach, first thing in the morning!
I follow the video shared by Prachi and Sai to make my cacao drink. I add a pinch of cinnamon and 1 tsp maple syrup and voila you have made the best cup of calming + energy boosting cacao drink! :)

Cacao- Purest form of Chocolate

I tasted the Anamalai Cacao first in a simple cacao drink with water and jaggery and it was the most chocolaty thing I ever tasted. Since then I have consumed it in different forms like Hot Chocolate, Chocolate Milk Shake and everytime it blows my mind. Keep up the good work!
